The senior female national team of Ghana, Black Queens, has been invited to participate in the Turkish Women’s Cup.
The tournament is held annually, this year’s edition becomes the fourth of its kind and is aimed at fostering unity and improving women’s football development in Turkey.
This year’s edition of the Turkish cup also known as Alanya Gold City Cup will run from 2nd March to March 11.
The Turkish Women’s Cup is a yearly organised tournament which invites other countries to participate for the ultimate winner. This year’s edition will be the fourth time in a role.
As part of the tournament, the female national team will be in full attendance to play as guests to the competition. Head coach of the side,Mercy Tagoe, is expected to announce the list of players for camping this week.
As part of the preparation, the management team of the senior national team, Black Queens, has decided to camp the players a day before the tournament.
