Liberty Professionals get back to winning ways with a marginal 1-0 win over Karela at the Carl Reindolf Park.
The two teams created a number of opportunities in the first half but none of them were able to find a breakthrough. The two teams went into the break all square.
The match was a stale one until five minutes after the hour mark. Elvis-Kyei Baffour found the net for Liberty Professionals, much to the delight of the fans at the stadium.
Karela pushed hard for the leveller but the hosts managed to hold on and earn the victory after the final whistle was blown.
