Former Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association Oti Akenteng has asked stakeholders to desist from comparing his work to that of his upcoming successor due to the resource difference.
Oti Akenteng served in his role as Technical Director for 14 years but will not do that anymore after the GFA opted against extending his contract.
In an interview with Joy Sports, Akenteng noted that he could have worked better if he got the new resources that his successor will get.
“When they employ people, someone will do something simple and comparatively, they will say ‘this man is doing better than Oti Akenteng’. Probably, if Oti Akenteng were to have the resources the person has, he would have worked a hundred times better.”
