Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frederick Moore says it will be too early to scrap the entirety of the 2019-20 Ghana premier league season due to the Coronavirus crisis.

The Ghana Football Association have frozen all football activities which is in conformity with one of government’s directive towards curbing the spread of the novel CoronaVirus.

Due to unpredictable nature of the future, there have been suggestions from some officials that the GFA declares the suspended season null and void to allow for a fresh start when things return to normal.

However, Hearts Chief Fred Moore disagrees and says it will be too hasty to take such a decision in the present.

He was speaking in an interview with local radio station Asempa FM.

Fred Moore said “if we have the crisis that Italy has had, we would not be able to continue the league.

“But if we have the crisis that Singapore has had, we will be able to continue the league.

“So I think its too early in the Ghana curve to concentrate too much in the future. Lets look at what is happening now, what can we do as a club to support our players, to support our staff and to support our supporters.

“Then when everything is coming to an end can discuss all of those things” he ended.
