Asante Kotoko loanee Justice Blay wants to be remembered in the same glowing terms as former striker Eric Bekoe.
Bekoe, 33, was the face of the Porcupine’s domination in the 2007/2008 season, helping the club to a league and FA Cup double.
He was a also golden boot winner in that same season.
Blay who is currently on loan with the Porcupine Warriors from Medeama SC has gone on to be one of the players the fans have been drawn to due to his impressive display, not forgetting his consistency.
“My biggest motivation right now is not to go abroad. I want to achieve something with Kotoko so when I leave I will be remembered like Eric Bekoe,” Blay told Asempa FM in an interview.
Asante Kotoko are reportedly working on a deal with his parent club Medeama in a bid to make the deal permanent as of next season.
