Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng believes Besiktas have a chance of winning this season's Turkish Super Lig which is currently on an indefinite suspension.
The league was suspended last month because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Besiktas haS been given little chance of finishing the season as the champions occupies the fifth position and are nine points adrift of leaders Trabzonspor after 26 games.
However, with eight games remaining, Boateng has assured fans that the team will do everything possible to win the title.
“We have a lot to do as Boateng and Besiktas. We will win the trophy. While playing in Frankfurt I said, nobody believed but we won. Now I say this: when the league starts again, we will do a lot of things and become champions as Boateng and Besiktas. Then we will have an amazing celebration.
Boateng joined Besiktas on loan from Serie A side Fiorentina in January.
He has scored two goals in six league appearances.
