Ashantigold have approached GHALCA Chairman Cudjoe Fianoo for their vacant Chief Executive Officer position.
Footballmadeinghana.com understand the club’s top brass have contacted the former CEO to return two years since resigning from the club.
The Miners are currently looking for replacement for Frederick Acheampong who handed his resignation a week ago citing personal reasons.
According to a source close to the club, management have identified Cudjoe Fianoo as the perfect replacement for the ace broadcaster due to his experience and knowledge.
Fianoo has served the Obuasi-based outfit for thirteen years, guiding them to Premier League glory in the 2014/15 season as they ended a nineteen-year trophy drought.
He left the role following a takeover of the club from Anglo Gold Ashanti by business mogul Dr. Kwaku ‘Champion’ Frimpong.
