Black Stars of Ghana And FC Metz defender John Boye has donated items to widows and widowers at Teshie Mangoase in the Greeter Accra Region of Ghana.

Teshie happens to be the place John Boye was born.

The donation took place at The Spirit of Angel Church located at Teshie mangoase.

The items include bags of rice, frytoil, drinks,cartons of bottled mineral water, cartons of milo, crate of eggs, milk, toilet rolls etc.

Boye started his career at Schwepps' Youth Academy, where he featured alongside Mohammed Iddi. He later moved Pro Consult Sports Academy and Miracle FC.

John Boye played Hearts of Lions in Kpando, Volta Region of Ghana as loan deal. He then later moved to Rennes also as loan deal.

He joined his current side F.C Metz in France on 21st of June 2018 for four years deal.

John Boye joined the Ghana senior national soccer team, the Black Stars of Ghana in the year 2008 where he against Gabon on 22 June 2008.

He later came back to the Black Stars of Ghana in 2012 to play in Gabon 2012 AFCON alongside former goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey.

John Boye has so far scored six goals for the Black Stars of Ghana in 67 appearances.

The Ghanaian international says he want to help his people to survive in this COVID-19 situation and it will not end up here.
