Former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah has vowed to use any legal means possible to retrieve the $185,000 owed him by the GFA.

Appiah who was let go by the FA in December is said to be owed salaries of four months and a one game-winning bonus.

A close ally to the former Kotoko player says since his exit, there have been several attempts to have the FA settle the debt.

He complained that the FA appears not to be interested in paying the debt and Appiah has become frustrated about the development.

Appiah in an interview with Starr FM said that the FA have been lax and showed little care about the issue.

He charged them to use part of the controversial $500,000 FIFA fund to settle his debt.

“I decided to keep quiet while I was working and also keep quiet after I left but the question is how do I feed my family? Meanwhile, I quite remember when they took over Dr Kofi Amoah gave them $1 million and I even understand there is also some $500,000 from FIFA or whatever, the bottom line is you should look at the essential ones and try and sort it out.

“But it looks like they don’t care. This is money I have worked for and they are not telling me anything which I feel it doesn’t show sign of respect. So I have told my lawyers to deal with it.” Different figures

A document of debt owed by the GFA which emerged in the media space this week revealed that Appiah is owed $5000 less than his close ally Asante Fokuo is purporting.
