French Ligue 1 side FC Metz are set to offer Ghanaian defender John Boye a year’s extension to his contract.
Boye’s current deal expires in June 2020 and reports FMIG is picking up indicate that the club’s handlers are impressed with his performances so far in the 2019-20 French Ligue 1.
In the season which was truncated, John Boye made 24 appearances in the league and contributed 2 goals.
There were initial fears the 33 year old would walk for free but according to FMIG sources, Metz has started the process of renewing his contract for a further year until June 2021.
