Hearts of Oak legend Ishmael Addo has joined the argument over who the best is between his former teammates Bernard Don Bortey and Charles Taylor.
The three times Ghana Premier League goal-king admits Taylor is a better dribbler than Bortey, however explains that both players have unique qualities which makes them different in their style of play.
“A couple of days ago, a friend of mine was telling me about this [debate] and I don’t even understand why [they are being compared],” he told Tv3 sports.
“Looking at these two players, they have different styles of play altogether though they are both wingers. Taylor is a better dribbler than Bortey but Bortey also has some qualities that Taylor doesn’t have. Bortey has more pace,” he added.
“It is difficult to compare the two of them because they are both different but I enjoyed playing with both them. They both contributed a lot to Ghana football and Hearts of Oak.”
“I enjoyed playing with Taylor who had the skills to make things happen, and I enjoyed playing with Bortey with his crosses and speed.
“They both added something to my game and I must say it a pleasure playing with them,” he concluded.
