Ghana captain Andre Ayew is delighted by Swansea's big win over Middlesborough following the resumption of the English championship.
The 30-year old netted and created an assist as the Swans thrashed Middlesborough at an empty Riverside stadium.
"3 points .. great start. One goal. Congrats my little brother Rhian Brewster. Missed theJack Army. Let's keep going," he tweeted after the game.
Ayew converted from the spot in the 34th minute at add to Rhian Brewster's brace as the Lily Whites too a three-goal lead in the first half.
Liverpool loanee Rhian Brewster scored twice in three minutes as the Swans started off the game in blistering mode after just 20 minutes. Ayew provided the assist for the youngster's opener on 18 minutes.
Bersant Celina replaced Ayew in the 81st minute as Swansea cruised to a comfortable win.
The win sends Swansea to seventh place, same on points as Preston and just a place below the promotion play offs.
