Kumasi Asante Kotoko has appointed former Sports Director of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Yaw Adu as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club.
The CEO position at the Porcupine Warriors club has been vacant by Mr. George Amoako who was relieved of his post last month following a decision by the new board of directors to dissolve the management team.
Having been in the hunt for a new CEO for the club, information picked up by footballghana.com. indicates that Mr. Joseph Yaw Adu has been given the job.
The report has it that the sports administrator has in the past week been largely considered for the vacant position at the club and has now been appointed.
The former KNUST Sports Director is expected to work with the club for the period of the mandate given to the new board of directors.
He will work while reporting directly to the board which has been made the highest decision making body of Asante Kotoko by Manhyia.
