This behaviour has been the way of our African Politicians. Sometimes like someone asked, you wonder who discovered Africa. In many Western Nations, she wouldn't have even dreamt let alone thought of doing this, but here in Africa, our leaders see us as people who lack smartness, are foolish and so dumb headed such that you can actually steal state resources, state funds and still have the citizens voting for you. Here in Ghana it is far worse. We voted for a whole grown man whom we thought won't decieve us especially because of his age. But today he is far corrupt, far devious, far fraudulent and far wicked than any president we've ever had. If this issue had happened here in Ghana, he would've quickly spoken on the issue by stating the innocence of his minister and by so doing, given a decoded message to all his sectors and judiciary to equally make sure the minister goes free. He then would've ensured that the monies recovered and all the accounts discovered be released back to her. That is the kind of Stupidity of a useless leader we're dealing with in Ghana.

In all these, my problem is us the citizens. When will Africa's Citizens be wise. All we do is to hail these thieves, Liars and crookish creatures, calling them honourables, offering them the best seat at functions, and praising them with accolades at our churches just because they are giving large sums of monies anytime they're around. Yet the monies we see them dish out so generously are the very funds they steal from our National Coffers as Ministers. When will Africans wake up to this reality that we keep honouring Fraudsters and praising thieves and voting for national scammers. It's sad, so sad. Our Western Brothers have gone far, so far, whiles Africa keeps crawling behind because of evil tyrannical thieves as their leaders. Today many blacks wish they were never born in Africa.

Just read a little wider and you will see that western leaders have been embroiled in corruption in all of history to date. Unfortunately westerners have a way of making Africans look worse than themselves, but those who know don’t buy into that warped discourse. In any case I salute your call for citizens to wake up and see corruption in leadership the way it is.
