Ghanaian musician Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, known by his stage name Wanlov the Kubolor has advised Stonewboy to ban whoever handed over the gun to him (Stonebwoy) during the rift with Shatta Wale at last year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Wanlov in a response to an earlier publication with the headline 'VGMA should rather ban Blakk Cedi – Wanlov' tweeted that, his advice was directed to Stonebwoy and not the VGMA board as reported.

"I die! pls @1blakkcedi I no talk so. I say dey for fine the person e gives the stone the gun & stone for ban am for giving am gun instead of using the gun to protect stone. o god b like I worsen the matter," he tweeted with a worried emoji.

In an exclusive interview on TV3, Wanlov suggested that the VGMA board was unfair to the musicians as their actions on that night do not deserve such punishment.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale lost their legibility for Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominations and selections after the two fought at the just 2019 VGMAs.

Meanwhile, Madam Theresa Ayoade, Chief Executive Officer of Charterhouse has announced that the newly instituted VGMA board for 2020 is yet to take a decision on the way forward for the two dancehall giants in Ghana, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale following the abysmal turn of events at last year's concert.
