If we Ghanaians don't promote our won, who will come and do it for us? The nigerians you are talking about, who promoted their music for them that it is a so-called hit? the critical thing is for us to develop our music. what I hate the most is this thing that companies like Vodafone etc which operates in Ghana, will bring artistes from outside, including nigeria and pay them several times what they pay Ghanaian artistes! and we Ghanaians don't see anything wrong with it? Music is a powerful cultural tool and a very important feature of our Ghanaian culture.If we allow non-Ghanaian influences to dominate our music then we are finished. and frankly, I am very afraid with the way the Ghanaian society is heading. and please don;t call those nigeria our cousins. I know a cousin when I see one. I live in that country for 20 years and their attitude towards anything Ghana is purely disgusting. let ghana music play!
