There's s lot of truth in what you're saying. Twi is fast becoming a the dominant language in Ghana and that has caused so manydownfalls in many aspects of Ghanaian popular culture. In the past the music thrived because there was limited or no dynamics of piracy and copyright issues. Musicians made the most of what they worked for. We should be thankful that English is our official language because that's the language the whole world wants to learn. But instead they want to force Twi on us. Lot of us did not grow up speaking Twi and it us not our language but they want to label us non-Ghanaian because we don't speak Twi. There are over 45 ethnic groups in Ghana so why are these people forcing us to speak Twi? Only in Ghana that language is spoken and if this continue, the music industry and other aspects of our society would continue to suffer

My dqar, don't blame twi for the misfortunes of GH music. Language can not be a barrier to the growth. Come to Ksi and see how people are enjoin Telemo. I don't even care abt the meaning, I sing it.
U ll rather patronise another country's music to the detriment if ur own because of hatred for one tribe. Shame on

For ur information, NO ONE is forcing twi on anyone.
