A technical knock-out in boxing is whereby a boxer is discontinued or refuses to continue the fight due to a supposed injury or personally refusing to continue the fight. A knock-out, on the contrary is whereby a boxer is either counted out or stopped by the referee to continue for fear of getting hurt or sustaining irreparable injuries.
Isaac Dogbe won the fight on TKO because his opponent refuse to respond for the 7th round. The Argentinian was neither knocked out resulting in being counted out.
