Accra bourse Index closes down

Accra, Jan. 28, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark index of performance of the Accra bourse, dipped in trading on Wednesday pulled down by a loss in Starwin Products Limited (SPL). The index closed the session down by 1.16 points at 10,252.72 points from 10,253.88 points on Tuesday. Shares that changed hands were up at 471,400 shares, led by a block trade in SPL, which accounted for 320,000 shares of the volume. The change year to date now stands at -1.72 per cent. Market capitalisation ended the session at GH¢17,893.17 million.
