Accra bourse begins week on weak note

Accra, Nov. 28, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) began the week on a weak note, inching up by a mere 0.19 points as investors remained on the fence.

The GSE All-Share Index, the main market measure, ended up at 4,875.48 points from 4,875.29 points.

Shares that changed hands ended at 54,100 by as many as 11 of the 29 listed equities.

There was only one price change, a three-cedi gain by Guinness Ghana Breweries Company Limited at 7,660 cedis. Change for the year -28.29 per cent while market capitalisation was 92,138.97 billion cedis from 3,393.18 million issued shares.
