Mr Alexander Anum-Addo, General Manager of Sales and Distribution, Adamas Life Assurance (Adamas Life), said the company has set up the necessary infrastructure to provide a lead role in the insurance sector.
He explained that although the company is new in Life Assurance, it has put measures in place to grow faster and serve the public in the best way possible, thereby reflecting its progress.
“Although we are new in the insurance sector, we will not operate as toddlers who want to be pampered; rather we have come to serve as pace setters in the new insurance business development. Ghanaians deserve international standards,” he said.
Mr Anum-Addo said this during one of the series of training session for Adamas Life sales executives in Accra, which was also used to enlighten the public on the need for a life assurance.
The training was organised by Adamas Life in collaboration with Cardinal Brokers Limited, an Insurance and Risk Management Consultancy.
Mr Anum-Addo said the Sales Executives were trained on industrial knowledge; principles governing insurance, selling techniques; products and services of the Company and the generics of the insurance field.
He noted that although insurance is important to individuals, it is bedeviled with myths which are limiting growth of the sector irrespective of its intensive benefits to the participants.
He said it is necessary for the sales executives to work with high integrity, diligence and utmost good faith.
The Reverend George Jordan Robertson, Chief Executive Officer of Cardinal Brokers Limited (CBL), said since Adamas Life is an underwriting company that is responsible for the technical aspect of the company, it was necessary to partner with CBL to handle the sales and distribution aspect.
He assured the public of the best services from the two companies.
“As an experienced Insurance Broker, we hope to bring out more innovation strategies of distribution for our customers to make a mark in the life assurance sector,” he said.
Rev Robertson gave the assurance that the firm would offer strong personal insurance solutions to the insuring public.
“The Cardinal Brokers Team is here to serve you the customer; we act for you and not for the insurance company, so the focus on providing you with the best insurance solution whilst meeting your personal and business needs is our first priority.
“Our staff can suggest alternatives as well as discussing areas of coverage you may have overlooked. Complete Service with Professional Advice,” he noted.
Rev Robertson noted that Cardinal Brokers sought to provide excellent insurance solutions for clients; “We are here to serve you and to help you make the most of your insurance budget.
“We will try to sell you the insurance solutions that will help you save money while getting complete and comprehensive cover where and when you need it.
“So whether you are looking at saving money, the best package or in fact just needing advice on your current insurance package the staff at Cardinal Brokers looks forward to servicing your needs.”
Adamas Life and Cardinal Brokers recently entered into a business operational partnership, to inject robust state-of-the-art Information Communication Technology programmes, to drive the performance of the insurance industry.
The partnership is also to provide an insurance alternative based on fresh data, contemporary selling techniques, and strategies to improve results from take-off to full execution, while building a risk profile for experience rating in the Ghana insurance sector.
The partnership is also to create educational opportunities for the insuring public, to understand the technicalities of the insurance sector and demystify the sector.
