Advans Savings and Loans ends its 10th anniversary celebrations with grand dinner

Advans Savings and Loans held a grand dinner on December 1, 2018 to honour clients and staff.

The dinner marked the end of Advans 10th-anniversary celebrations and saw over 50 clients being rewarded for their loyalty and trust to the Advans brand.

The occasion was also used to appreciate the outstanding contributions of some staff members and their and commitment to the company. The anniversary dinner, which was attended by over 650 staff and clients, was held in celebration of the impressive growth witnessed by the institution over the last 10 years.

Today, Advans Ghana serves over 55,000 clients across the country, with over 125,000 loans disbursed since its inception, and over 600 million GHS disbursed.

Addressing the gathering, acting CEO Mr. Francis Owiredu expressed his deepest appreciation to clients and partners for their loyalty to Advans. He further thanked staff for their dedication and hard work, which have contributed to making Advans Savings and Loans a robust and trusted banking partner in Ghana.

“We started this journey in 2008 with less than 30 staff. Today, we have one of the largest branch networks in the Savings and Loans industry in Ghana with 19 branches across 7 regions, providing direct employment to over 620 individuals. We owe our successes to you, our loyal clients and dedicated staff because you believed in us and have stayed with us all these years.”

Mr Ben Berko, the Board Chairman of Advans Savings and Loans congratulated the staff and management of Advans for remaining focused and steadfast over the past 10 years and providing tailor-made financial products and services to support the growth of MSMEs in Ghana.

He remarked that Advans Ghana “will continue to build on its existing niche markets while leveraging on the international expertise of the Advans Group to develop help our target clients develop in new markets and sectors in Ghana”.

For his part, the Chief of Sales of the Advans Group, Mr. Olivier Bailly-Béchet, said the institution will continue to innovate over the years to come with growth and expansion in terms of technological infrastructure, branch network, products and service offerings thanks to the support of the Advans Group.
