Afri-Consult in collaboration with “Free To Grow” has organized a one day program to equip senior management with the attitude and skillsets to create a culture of engagement and teamwork in their respective organizations.
The Employee Engagement training program dubbed “SHAPE” held at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra Brought together leaders from the financial sector, manufacturing, service and construction sectors including Multichoice Ghana Limited, Benso Oil Palm Plantation, Omni BSIC Bank, SIC Financial Service Ghana, Tema Oil Refinery, Jospong Group, Fidelity Bank, Mawums Limited and Ghana Civil Avaition Limited.
The workshop addressed issues of leadership and employee engagement which are central to increased productivity and development in very organization.
Alinda Nortje, Founder and CEO of Free To Grow, brought together cutting edge international research on culture ad employee engagement with best practices identified through Free To Grow’s work over 25 years, 33 countries and 1260 organizations such as Coca-Cola, Distell and SABMiler.
Participants were taken through series of lecture and activities namely essence of employee engagement, how to attract and retain key talent, signs, symptoms and impact of employee paddlers, passengers and pirates.
Speaking to Mr. Martin Attah-Fynn, Managing Director, Afri-Consult, he mentioned that most employees have the needed qualifications but lack the right attitude, as such he urged leaders of private and government agencies to embrace this initiative in order to inculcate the right working attitude in their staff.
