Airtel Ghana, leader in innovative data products and services, has introduced onto the mobile market the Alcatel Pixi III Smartphone, at a very affordable price in order to make smartphone devices and services accessible to everyone.
A statement issued in Accra by Maame Dufie Cudjoe, Corporate Communications and External Affairs Manager and copied to Ghana News Agency said the smart phone comes with great and exciting offers such as a free SIM; free 1GB data monthly for 12 months; free Facebook and Internet.org; double data on internet bundles and 1 month free Wynk music subscription.
It said in order for subscribers to enjoy usage and reduce cost, the Alcatel Pixi III Smartphone comes with the latest smartphone specs as well as preinstalled mobile applications (airtelcare, whatsapp, facebook, twitter, wynk, google maps, viber etc) with a four inch screen.
It added that the brand new Alcatel Pixi III smartphone makes mobile internet available to everyone while offering innovative features.
Director of Data Business at Airtel, John Claude Domilongo Bope stated that, “The smartphone landscape is rapidly changing with high quality smartphones becoming more affordable and accessible”.

Notably among these value added services are Browse Chaw bundles (100 per cent more data), dual scratch card, which enables consumers to load voice or data, Rollover of data bundles which allows consumers to roll over their unused data before it expires as well as the Phone backup service, which allows customers to back up their contacts and media, it said.
The statement said Airtel Ghana’s partnership with Facebook is making it easier for people to access basic internet services.
Through Facebook’s Internet.org app, Airtel customers using mobile internet capable devices would now be able to access a set of free services in categories such as health, education, communication, jobs, and local information.
