Akatsi North to start One District One Factory soon

Dr. Prince Sodoke Amuzu, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Akatsi North, has visited some sites in preparedness for a proposed granite industry in the district.

Dr. Sodoke Amuzu visited the abandoned quarries of Amandi Company Limited and Great Lakes Company Limited, local firms at Ave-Xevi in the district, where he said intensive scientific study would be done on the potentials of the sites for the establishment of the granite industry.

The DCE assured that a lot of work will be done to develop all dams in the district into modernised irrigation farms so as to create jobs and to boost agricultural productivity.

Mr. Samuel Akpalu, a poultry farmer in the area, appealed to government to support them with animal feeds and drugs in order to help them improve upon their production levels.
