The CEO of gold-trading firm, Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, has urged anxious and worried customers to remain calm as his company does everything possible to pay them all that is due them.
“I humbly urge all Menzgold clients to kindly remain calm, as we prepare to COMPLETELY SETTLE all entitlements of any magnitude soon.
“We've got brands and names to protect. Self-restraint now is critical to maintain public peace and order. All is well”, he tweeted.
There have been agitations among clients of the company following the postponement of the payment of extra values earned on their gold investments, three times.
Some clients, out of frustration, attacked some staff of Menzgold, a situation which forced the temporary closure of the company’s offices on Friday.
Menzgold is in legal fight with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over a regulatory impasse which has resulted in the company suing the state body.
I humbly urge all Menzgold clients to kindly remain calm, as we prepare to COMPLETELY SETTLE all entitlements of any magnitude soon. We've got brands & names to protect.Self-restraint now is critical to maintain public peace & order. All is well.#MenzgoldlivesOn #GhanaShallProsper
