Farmers in the Bawku are expecting a good harvest after the satisfactory rains period over the past few months.
Many of the farmers who cropped millet, groundnuts, and maize said they were expecting a good harvest as most of the crops are at the maturing stage.
A visit by the Ghana News Agency to Mognori, a suburb of the Bawku; Kulungungu, Wedana and Pusiga in the Pusiga District, Navkolga, Atuba, Benguri and Bazua also in the Binduri District of the Upper East Region, saw farmers harvesting fresh groundnuts and other crops.
