The CEO of Spaklean Company Ltd, Mrs. Dinah Owusu-Kissi has called on SMEs to be open-minded and allow partners to invest in their businesses.

"Which is a wiser decision, owning a 100% of a business on the verge of collapse rather than owning a 30% share of a health business and an investor owning 70% shares which will lead to expansion and growth?” Mrs. Owusu- Kissi made this call when she was featured on Biz Trends TV Show alongside an SME owner, Mrs. Felicia Mensah.

She cited a period in her career where she was faced with serious challenges that nearly plunged her business. It was the timely intervention of her husband and an investor that saved the business.

Mrs Owusu-Kissi added, "The key thing to partnering someone for a business is trust, transparency, and proper accountability. If all these are in place, there's no need to reject a business partnership."

She advised SMEs to focus and ensure that customers are satisfied with the services or products offered to them.

Biz Trends shows every Friday 5:30 pm on GHOne TV.
