DSTV Introduces New Decoder

Multichoice Ghana Limited, the local representative of MNET, has launched a new Digital Satellite Decoder (DSD) 910, which is comparatively smaller and yet has a wider and more unique features than the previous one.

Mr. Edward Kwame Owusu, sales and Marketing Manager of Multichoice Ghana, said the main aims of projecting the new decorder are to reduce cost and improve services they offer to customers.

He said the fully installed DStv is now $359 as against $399. "Multichoice Africa will continue to identify innovative ways of reducing cost so that our world of entertainment can reach a lot more people".

He said Multichoice has realized that the former decoder had been posing problems to customers. He said by rectifying the problems associated with the former decoder, prompted the introduction of the new one. He said, the old one would stop circulating in the market but assured that Multichoice would continue to service the old ones for customers who already have them.

He said the company is putting together a corporate plan that would assist workers to purchase DSTv decoders to satisfy their needs for good entertainment and education.

Some features of the DSD 910 are the installation of parental guidance system that enables parents to monitor the kind of films their wards watch, expanded TV guide, four colour settings, and improved signal strength detection.
