The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has released a report detailing its investigation into alleged corruption and corruption-related activities involving the Ministry of Finance (MoF), the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), and Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML).
The probe was conducted under the authority of sections 2 and 3 of the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act, 2017 (Act 959), and regulation 31(1)(g) of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (Operations) Regulations, 2018 (L.I. 2374).
These legal provisions empower the OSP to investigate and prosecute allegations of corruption involving public officers, politically exposed persons, and private-sector actors, recover and manage assets, and publish detected acts of corruption as a preventive measure.
