The Ghana Alternative Market for SMEs could list its first and second companies in the first quarter of next year.
This follows approval of application from the listing support fund for Meridian Marshal Limited and Processing Foods and Spices popularly called Samba by the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Managing Director Kofi Yamoah told XYZ BUSINESS the GSE Alternative Market for SMEs has taken off despite the non-listing of any firm.
Mr. Yamoah added many SMES including Domod, Juabeng Oil Mills have all expressed interest to list on the GSE Alternative Market next year.
The GSE has so far returned about 77 percent to investors
