Accra, June 16, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index of the Accra bourse made a significant gain on Wednesday.
The index went up by 39.7 points to close at 6,965.82 points compared to last Monday's close at 6,926 points. Total shares traded were up at 279,300 compared to the 92,300 shares that changed hands during the previous trading. There nine prices changes, all positive, on the broader market. Mobil Ghana Limited (MOGL) gained 800 cedis to close at 41,000 cedis; Fan Milk Limited (FML) gained 300 cedis to close at 7,600 cedis; Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) up by 100 cedis to close at 1,870 cedis; Standard Chartered Bank SCB was up by 100 cedis to close at 95,600 cedis while Trust Bank Limited of The Gambia also move up by 100 cedis to close at 31,400 cedis.
Clydestone gained 20 cedis to end at 720 cedis; while Guinness Ghana Limited gained five cedis to close 12, 135 cedis; Societal General-SSB was up by four cedis to close at 31,605; while Unilever gained two cedis to close at 21,002.
Market capitalisation was up by 96,736.45 billion cedis on Wednesday as compared to last Monday's 96,634.69 billion cedis.
