Accra, March 30, GNA - The dismal performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) continued on Wednesday in poor trading reflected in all the main indices.
The All-Share Index, the main market Index, closed down by 1.26 points to 6,453.84 after marking time in two successive trading sessions.
Shares that changed hands were mere 55,800, down from Tuesday's 95,000 shares as the bourse continues to struggle under heavy bearish sentiments.
Change for the year slid further into the red at -5.07 per cent. There were two price changes, one either way.
Patterson Zochonis (PZ) was 10 cedis richer at 5,710 cedis but Starwin Products Limited (SPL) was 50 cedis poorer at 700 cedis. Market capitalization was lower at 96,674.86 billion cedis from 96,678.29 billion cedis from 3,663.51 million issued shares.
