Accra, March 12, GNA - Home Finance Company (HFC) posted an impressive gain on the Accra bourse sending the GSE All-Share Index up 26.46 points to close trading at 5,138.56 points.
The Index finished at 5,112.10 points on Thursday.
The Home Mortgage Company made 400 cedis to close trading stronger at 8,000 cedis. It however, only traded a low of 3,700 shares. Produce Buying Company, one of two cocoa companies listed on the GSE made 50 cedis on its share to finish at 3,800 with 32,600 shares changing hands.
Ghana Commercial Bank, which also went up 10 cedis to end at 13,610, a significant gain over the 500 initial price offer. Other gainers were Cocoa Processing Company and Guinness Ghana Limited, which posted one cedi each to close at 909 cedis and 8,351 cedis while SSB Bank inched up two cedis to close trading at 24,502 cedis.
Total share traded was 82,400. Total issued shares is 3,077.6 million with Market Capitalisation of 16,620.40 billion cedis.
