Mauritian to invest about $1 mn in textiles in Ghana

The Management of Belin Textiles Company of Mauritius is to invest about one million dollars in the manufacturing of T-shirts in Accra this year.

Mr A.M.C. Berty Fong San Pin, Managing Director of the company, speaking to newsmen in Floreal, said the machines and equipment to begin the factory had already been shipped to Ghana and were expected to be delivered in Accra by the end of this month.

He said the installation of the machinery would take about a month for production to begin in July.
