The Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation, Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, has disclosed that ‘his ministry’ is still being constituted.
He made this disclosure during the ‘Evidence to Action’ conference organized by the International Centre for Evaluation and Development (ICED) in Accra.
“The Ministry of Monitoring and Evaluation is in the process of putting in place the key building blocks and defining its core functions”, he said.
He also added that his team would call on the International Centre for Evaluation and Development for advice on how to run the ministry.
“I have no doubt that my team and I will be coming to some of you for advice and more importantly, to take advantage of the incredible resource and knowledge that have been made possible through this conference”, he added.
The conference was themed “Evidence to Action – Towards an Evidence-Based and Data Informed Policy Action and Practice in Africa”.
