More Public Phone Booths.

The Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (P&T) has now begun the installation of 500 units of card-phone booths throughout the country for local and international calls.

The card-phone booths will be placed at vantage points such as market places and lorry parks throughout the country for use by the public.

Mr Oduro Nyaning, Chairman of the Planning Committee of the World Telecomms Day, said the installation which is to be completed in August this year is being funded by the Overseas Economic Co-operation Fund.
