Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, Minister of Finance
The Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has underscored the central role of procurement in driving Ghana’s economic resilience and sustainable development.
Speaking ahead of the 2025 National Procurement and Supply Conference (NPSC), he stressed that procurement decisions remain critical to both the public and private sectors, making platforms such as the NPSC vital to Ghana’s growth agenda.
“Procurement is central to financial decision-making in both the public and private sectors. I am pleased with the opportunity to be involved and to engage through conferences like this. I believe we will have relevant discussions on how to advance the strategic role of procurement and supply chains in delivering Ghana’s economic goals,” Dr Forson said when he engaged organisers of the conference on August 27, 2025 in Accra.
