Accra, March 17, GNA - The African Development Programme (ADP) has called on the Registrar General's Department (RGD) to review the 300,000 cedis renewal of certificate fees being charged for renewal of business licences
In a Press Release, the ADP said between 50,000 to 100,000 cedis charge should be considered to encourage more businesses to renew their certificates.
The ADP expressed concern that the RGD should issue out the old Business
Certificates "as late as early this year when it knew it was going to come out with the new certificates this time of the year". The ADP asked, How secure the new Certificate was, adding that, the RGD should have opened branch offices in Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale before embarking on the Exercise.
