Stock index once again ends flat

Accra, May 30, GNA - The benchmark GSE All-Share Index began the week flat in dull trading that has characterised the bourse since the beginning of the year as investors remained indifferent to the Exchange. The index closed at 6,050 points for the fourth successive trading session.

Change for the year to date also ended at -11.01 per cent, while there was no change in the prices of equities. Market capitalisation also closed unchanged at 95,049.14 billion cedis.

Shares traded, however, went up to 513,700 from Friday's close of 58,100 on account of 502,500 shares sold by CAL Bank.
