“The TEN Fields remain one of Ghana’s most strategic offshore assets, playing a critical role not only in strengthening our oil and gas sector but also in supporting power generation,” Dr Jinapor stated.

He noted that reliable gas supply from the offshore operations continues to contribute significantly to stable electricity generation for industries, businesses and households across the country.

Dr John Jinapor commended the professionalism and dedication of the workforce and partners operating on the FPSO and rig facilities, praising their commitment to safety and operational excellence.

"The teams continue to maintain one of the highest levels of safety adherence in the industry,” he noted.

The Energy Minister further encouraged stakeholders in the sector to remain focused, innovative and collaborative in efforts to unlock greater value from Ghana’s petroleum resources.

He also assured industry players of government’s readiness to create a conducive environment for sustained investment aimed at enhancing oil production and maximising benefits for the people of Ghana.
