Tecnocom introduces PLC broadband technology in Ghana

MADRID - Tecnocom Telecomunicaciones y Energia SA and Cactel Communications said they have introduced the Power Line Communications (PLC) broadband internet technology in Accra, Ghana.

In a statement, Tecnocom said the project will involve the development of a PLC network in the country and will use the company's DS2 chip.

The introduction of a PLC network in Ghana will be followed up by similar pilot projects in other African countries, Tecnocom said.
