Twellium company, others rehabilitate James Camp Prison park

Twellium industrial company limited have joined force with Metro TV and Black Star's mid-fielder Kojo Asamoah to renovate the James Camp Prison's football pitch. The company did not only support the rehabilitation of the football pitch but also made a donation of their products to the inmates.

The Project which started Last year was made possible by the support of Metro Sports, together with the Juventus star and Twellium Industrial company limited; producers of Rush Energy Drink, Rasta Choco Malt, Verna Mineral Water, Planet and Bigoo soft drinks.

The project which was on the theme "inspiring correction for social re-integration" was officially inaugurated last weekend at James Camp.

The innuaguration was marked with activities such as hand craft display of the inmates to the general public. A football match was also held between Metro TV 11 and the Kwadow Asamoah 11(the inmates) which ended with a score line of 3-2 on penalty shootouts. The scoreline saw the inmates emerging double winners of this year and last year’s games.

Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, a former team mate of Kwadwo Asamoah at Udinese, Sammy Anim Addo; local manager of Asamoah Gyan, the leadership of Metro TV and other dignitaries, commissioned the facility on behalf of Kwadwo Asamoah.

Speaking in an interview in Accra on Monday, an official of Twellium Industrial company limited, Mr. Anas Mustapha said his company is excited to have served as the main sponsor of the project and was optimistic that his company will continue to support the less privileged in society.

"We at Twellium believe in giving back to the less privilege in our society and as part of our Cooperate Social responsibilities. This is not the first we are doing and it won't ever be the last. We are excited about this project and we are thankful to All who came on board. Especially to Kwadwo Asamoah," he said.
