Wilmar Africa launches Frytol small pack sachets

Wilmar Africa Limited, producers of Frytol cooking oil have launched new sachet/pouches of cooking oil over the weekend in Tema. The launch which took place at the company’s premises was witnessed by hundreds of people including Wilmar’s stakeholders and distributors across the country with a huge media presence.

Apart from the existing bottled Frytol, the product is now being made available in sachets of different volumes ranging from 50ml to 100ml.


The General Manager Commercial of Wilmar Africa, Ms Fatima Ali Mohammed addressing the press stated that Africa was always seen as the ‘dark’ continent and that for us in Africa, is an exciting prospect because it is only in the presence of darkness one can appreciate light.


According to the Manager Wilmar has always believed in Africa and continues to invest in it. “The launch of the small pack Frytol sachets today continues to show that we believe in the potential of Ghana. Our small sachets will deliver big results in the kitchen. We have successfully launched in other African and international markets and Ghana shouldn’t be left out,” she noted.


She also stressed “we have today launched various Frytol sachets sizes from 50ml, 100ml, 200ml 500ml, and 1000ml to ensure that we offer hygienic quality products at the most affordable prices starting from as little as 0.30 pesewas. We want to ensure that every oil user is guaranteed of using a trusted brand, sold in an exact quantity and is safe and hygienically packed. We have size that meets every need such as for those who want to buy 50ml for one time use to those institutions that want a 25 litres jerry can”.
