It helps the big foreign companies avoid taxes at a huge fees. All the kululu begins when KPMG and the likes of PwC connive with Government Officials to falsify and doctor accounting figures for their clients.

This reportage is not on point. The Tax Partner shd have named which companies have left GH becos of high taxes.
When they left etc. Such blanket statements without naming at least a couple of them does not make it credible.

It's got me stuffed ,How a Government can be so anti business when the Government is about to drop off a cliff with a debt that would take fifty years to pay back if at all.
If BUSINESS thrives so does the country,by increasing employment, the State gets income from taxation and exports bring in Revenue and the balance of payments improves,reducing inflation.
So what the is Addo and his Cronies doing? Driving business out of the Country.?

No country has ever tax their way to prosperity. Killing banks, taxing businesses out of existence in Ghana has been a recipe for the economic disaster the country is in.

Left to these multinationals alone they will prefer not to pay anything for cost of business operation.
Yes
..Salaries, health insurance, pension plans- defined , benefit ,God forbid - 401(K),disability, employer liability coverage, I could go on an on..but you get the point.
And don't forget
They've done so the past...they want them FREE.

But,
Here's the tragedy it's being parroted by our own kind.
