If this statement would be true, certain areas have to be switched off each and every day to keep the fuses from blowing.
I know as a fact, that in my area they shut us down one or two evenings a week. The rest of the week we are ok.

I have applied for meter since October and still waiting. The superiors are working with the employees and selling the meters to the individuals for their own pocket. ECG has been sold to the Chinese. The outages is too old and it to stop because it destroy the well being and productivity of the country. How companies work with the stupid outages. Most African countries are moving forward while Ghana is at standstill. Abro bayie me adwen boni aye yen ma. Shame unto the leaders and all the evil minds of the country.
