  This government is truly NATO, No action talk only. This government does not understand "Adze wo fie a, oye" principle. So long as we don't have critical volume, so long will prices be out of sight. Until there is promotion of local local production and consumption, there will be no significant multiplier effect of the cedi. In the UK, USA and similar economies, they encourage local consumption even if that means extra taxes on imported competing goods.

  Ghs in a is not and will probably never be able to produce Chicken at competitive prices. Meaning our consumers are paying too much for one of the cheapest meats to produce. Better is to replace (export) the import with food items or others in which we are competitive and so compensate import with export.

  As an Agricultural Minister, what measures have you taken to help the local poultry farmers to compete strongly with the imported poultry. The answer will be no funds, but meanwhile the government has funds to pay your ex-gracias, entertainment and wardrobe allowances etc, what wickedness is that.. This is very sad.

Look at our fishing where the Koreans fish in our waters with big boats and sell it to us whiles our fishermen do not have gas to fire their outboard engines. We need An Agricultural Revolution.

The importation of foreign chickens into Ghana is done mostly by the Mps of both parties..Now foreign foodstuffs is entering Ghana too much. That has even affected the cedi. The politicians of both Ndc and Npp are the ones importing foreign foods into Ghana killing the local farmers market
