When Mr. A become CEO of Green Co, the company's outstanding debt is GH¢ 2.

After 1year the debt balance has increased by GH¢ 10 to GH¢ 12. That is 500% increase on the original GH¢ 2 balance.

When Mr. A become CEO of Green Co, the company's outstanding debt is GH¢ 2.

After 1year the debt balance has increased by GH¢ 10 to GH¢ 12. That is 500% increase on the original GH¢ 2 balance.

Then Mr B takes over as CEO. After 1 year, the debt balance increase by GH¢ 10 (same amount,as the previous case under Mr A) to GH¢ 22. That is 83% increase on the GH¢ 12 inherited by Mr B.

It's only a dishonest person (a pathological professional liar) who will say Mr B has managed the debt better than Mr A. Each of them added GH¢ 10.

You borrow in cedis or dollars so you must calculate debt increase in cedis or dollars, NOT in percentage. No one goes to a bank manager and say I want to borrow 2000% or 450%.

Let's be honest in this country. Lying and deception are not normal. Lying and deception are NOT acceptable, be it in politics or otherwise. We must begin to punish politricksters who try to insult our intelligence with their lies. Lying is not normal.
