Ghana as a country had nuclear program during Nkrumah's era which was abandoned after his overthrow. There were some nuclear materials which were available at the atomic site at Kwabenya in Accra. President Kuffour negotiated with the Chinese government to remove those items, because they were obsolete. No wonder the Chinese are still on the negotiation table to deliver what had been discussed during Kwame Nkrumah's time. All over the world clean energy is the way to go, so not to pollute the atmosphere. The program must start immediately so to stop erratic power supply and also to boost industrialization, eg, ammunition melting, Iron ore industry etc.
