  BoG sets monetary policy so high to remunerate their officers. Staff at the BoG of Ghana much much higher income than Bank of England staff. Over 6 billion Cedis has been spent on staff compensation for the past six years.

  Your reasons for hounding the Bank of Ghana for many years, keep changing by the hour over the years, for your selfish interest in the top of BoG. For many years, (1) you were going about claiming that the economists at BoG (majority of whom are more highly educated than you) DIDN'T KNOW how to determine inflation expectations, were backward looking. The forward looking too, you have never suggested how to do it! Just stupid accusations and deranged tirades! (2) after no one, not even one first year business student (they would even laugh) had minded your very funny, bogus non-economic, economic theory for years, you now changed to how the BoG economists (again, majority of whom are more highly educated and smarter than you) only moved policy rates up so they can sustain high salaries and expenditures. THEY DON'T LOVE GHANA! DO YOU KNOW HOW SERIOUS AN ACCUSATION THIS IS AGAINST 1,000s of Ghanaians who have worked at and still work at the central bank???? 3) The latest shame - you have now invented your own economic concept of parity, laughably comparing treasury bill rates to currency depreciation, and calling it parity, to fool uninformed people that you are smart. Funny enough, neither of interest rate parity and purchasing power parity in economics, describe what you are calling parity and keep sprinkling in your idiotic tantrums, to sound intellectual. 4) VERY IMPORTANT, you can, and also any reader of your glory-hunting, self-seeking, arrogant and shameless, and bogus non-economics rantings, can just google: DO HIGH POLICY INTEREST RATES CAUSE CURRENCY DEPRECIATION? Today is not like those days that you people came back in the 80s and fooled Ghanaians into thinking that you were some smartest, brilliant people oh!   Because you don't know much, you ascribe high policy rates being used to fight high inflation, with the cause of currency depreciation. Yes, the inflation you don't care about managing! That inflation. And there is voluminous evidence linking high inflation to currency depreciation. Such a disgrace for a Yale management graduate to be spouting this stupid things and be arrogant because of some small money! Mind you, there are millions of rich people in the world who are not smart. It looks like you are one those with your behaviour!!!!!
